CARBO VEGETABILIS (vegetable charcoal)

CARBO VEGETABILIS (Carbo Veg or vegetable charcoal) is a medicine for boosting energy in the case of old people and it will give good stamina. It may be called as an energy booster.

It is prepared by using charcoal. To prepare this medicine charcoal is powdered and subsequently triturated with lactose sugar. The result is a mother tincture of CARBO VEG. (which does not retain any trace of the material since it is so diluted).

The indications to use this medicine are

Head pain with fully sensitive to the pressure of hat and the sensation remains even after the hat is removed from the head and feeling as if bound up with a cloth.

Gums painfully sensitive while chewing

Feeling of the burning sensation in the chest with soreness.

In throat, suffering from Ulcer, Sensation of burning in the mouth and the same is extending to stomach

This is an excellent remedy for the old people who are suffering from Indigestion, Gastric problems, Constipation and loss of Appetite, Stomach Ulcers etc.

ARSENICUM ALBUM (ARS)

In our last post, we saw a medicine called amylenum nitrosum (Amyl-nit) which can be used for Chest pains.

In this post, we'll see about a medicine, ARS that is used often by Homeopathy doctors for the reason it acts profoundly on every organ and tissue of the body.

The main indications for which this ARS can be used are: Burning sensation, Restlessness, Unquenchable thirst and weakness, Exhaustion, Dryness in mouth and in tongue.

Some other indications are: Feeling great anguish and restlessness in mind, and fearing of death and fear of being left alone.

In the case of Nose the indications are, a thin watery excoriating discharge and sneezing without relief.

In Stomach the indications are one cannot bear the sight or smell of food, Great thirst, Nausea, Burning pain, Vomiting of blood, Stomach extremely irritable, Gastric ulcer, etc.,

ARS can also be used for bleeding gums, ulceration in mouth with dryness, trembling, twitching and burning pains.

It can also be used to get relief from peripheral neuritis, diabetic gangrene and ulcers on the heels, head ache with cold.

In the SKIN the symptoms are Itching, burning, and psoriasis etc.,

Calcarea Sulphurica - Homeopathy remedy for treatment of pus

In the last post, we discussed Calcarea Phosphorica - a Homeopathy remedy for Numbness, back pain, fevers etc.  

In this post, we will discuss about Calcarea Sulphurica, which is a salt generally present in the liver and bile mucous membrane.

This is useful in suppurations of pus mixed with blood, yellowish discharged in eyes, ears, nose.This salt is also curative in ear diseases with blood, diarrhoeas, ulcers, pimples, boils, oozing scabs. It can also be used as effective remedy for cystic tumors, fibroids, eczema,  chronic lung infections. 

Indications: Formation of pus in the skin, thick yellow heavy pus sometimes with blood in ears, nose, face, or from inside parts of the body.

Dosage: With the usual dosage of 4…4…4 for two weeks, you will find good relief from the problems. For children use half of the dosage. In case of severity you can increase the dosage a little
