What is a homeopathy tissue remedy?

Blood is composed of organic and inorganic substances which are essential to the process of tissue building. 

The organic matter comprises of sugar, fatty, and albuminous substances. 

The inorganic constituents are what are called TISSUE or cell-salts and water present in minute quantities. These tissue salts use the organic salts and water for building various body cells. 

Diseases are caused by an imbalance in the assimilation or use of the essential (inorganic) materials that are required for the repair and maintenance of the myriad cells that are constantly manufactured and breaking down.

A deficiency of any of the vital tissue salts causes a dysfunction in the body which gives rise to disease. In the simplest terms BIOCHEMISTRY supplies the same vital tissue salts (that are deficient) in minute quantities to allow the cells to absorb the salt and get the metabolism to normalcy.

Tissue remedies are also referred as BIOCHEMIC single remedies and they are 12 inorganic salts. As we know already the Biochemic system was introduced by Dr.  Schuessler.  

The combinations of these biochemic single remedies are called BIOCOMBINATIONS.

What are homeopathy basic medicines and biochemistry medicines?

The word biochemistry is derived from the Greek word “BIOS” for life. This coupled with chemistry the science that studies the composition of elements and the changes they cause. Biochemistry is the system of treatment that uses the tissue remedies (inorganic salts of the body tissues) as medicine.

The biochemistry system was discovered by German Dr. SCHUESSIER.  He found our body is composed of 12 inorganic salts of Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium and Quartz. Imbalance of these salts would cause some disturbance in the smooth functioning of the body. Replacement of the deficient salt would restore health. More points to note: Tissue salts work purely on the physical level, the cellular level. To my knowledge, homeopathic medicines with its potencies work on all levels. In other words Biochemistry medicines (tissue salts) effects are direct action but homeopathy works probably by Indirect biochemical action on tissues.

Types of Homeopathy Medicines - Biochemic system

There are mainly three types of Homeopathy medicines. 

They are 

• Basic Homeopathy medicines with individual names 
• Biochemic single remedies (also called Biochemistry Single remedies or Tissue remedies) and 
• Biochemic combinations or Bio-Combination medicines

What are Homeopathy BioChemistry Single remedies and Bio-combination medicines? let us see in short.

Bio-combination medicines is the combination of two or more biochemistry remedies.

In general these medicines are simple, safe, economical, easy to carry anywhere and can be used again and again when symptoms occurs in family members as well as our friends. 

One among the biocombination medicines which is generally used is “BC No. 6”.   With the change in lifestyle and conditions it is noticed that mixed disease conditions have become common.
